WPT Adds New Canadian Stop

Once again the World Poker Tour has expanded the Season XII schedule, this time announcing the WPT Falls Poker Classic to take place in February 2014.

The WPT will be returning to Canada for a CAD$5,000 Main Event at the Fallsview Casino Resort just outside Toronto. It will be a single entry, three day tournament running from Feb. 22-24 at the end of the week-long, three-event Fallsview Poker Classic Tournament series.

Adam Pliska, the WPT President said, “Poker is more popular than ever in Canada, and our players have been asking us to add another WPT stop north of the border. We’re thrilled to accommodate them by adding this great new event to the tour, and we look forward to another fantastic event on Canadian soil.”

It is possible to buy directly into the event or qualify through satellites which are already running.
