Not many people realise that some of the world’s most popular video games have been designed and developed in Canada.
At present there are some fantastic games in development. For instance EA Sports FIFA 13 which is due to be released next month.
The game is said to have far superior graphics to its predecessors due to high-definition player models, fantastic animation and authentic ball and player physics.
The game is using a brand new Attacking Intelligence technology which gives the players the ability to analyse spaces, work more intelligently to break defences and plan a few plays ahead.
The game will include over 500 football clubs and around 15,000 players.
Another favourite currently being developed in Canada is Assassin’s Creed III. In this game players will join the Continental Army in the American Revolutionary War and use a number of weapons to fight the British for freedom.
The game takes place across a range of locations, from small towns to battlefields. After three years of development, the game will be using the Anvil Next game engine to bring incredibly realistic graphics.
Assassin’s Creed III will be available from the end of next month on Xbox 260, PS3 and PC.
