This Friday sees the Golden State Warriors take on the Denver Nuggets as they attempt to extend their winning streak.
However, the Nuggets have also been doing well, both teams are looking for their third win in a row and it looks as though it’s going to be a close game.
The bookies are favouring the home team with odds of 10/13; however, the Golden State Warriors aren’t far behind with odds of 11/10.
The Warriors have looked tough in their last four wins outrebounding opponents on average by 14.5 overall and 9.3 on the defensive end.
The Nuggets won their last game 101-94 against Minnesota managing to overcome a 34 point, 14-rebound performance from Kevin Love. Denver was trailing by 17 in the first half but managed to come out strong in the second to win the game.
George Karl, the Nuggets’ coach, said that he “yelled and screamed a little bit at halftime and they did great.” If the team can pull of the same form against the Warriors as they did in the second half against Minnesota then they shouldn’t manage another win.
However, the Warriors are looking strong and the match is sure to be a close one.
